Who am I?

My name is Natan Gesher, but you might know me as Nathan Gessner or Nate Gessner. I changed my name when I moved to Israel in July 2004. Gesher (גשר) is the Hebrew word for bridge, which I think sounds pretty nice and has some positive connotations as well.

Where am I?

I live in central Tel Aviv, and have been here since April 2006. Before that I lived in downtown Jerusalem for a year and a half after making Aliyah. I also lived in New York City between 1999 and 2003, and I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland.

What do I do?

What don’t I do? Professionally, I’ve been working for internet companies since 2006 and have been in search engine optimization since 2008. I really enjoy it, so I expect to be doing it for quite a while.
