Sharav

Sharav Gesher on Tel Aviv beach, October 2008
My name is Sharav. I am Natan’s dog. He adopted me in April 2007 through an organization called SOS.

I was born in early 2007, possibly on 8 January, because my original name was Elvis and that is Elvis Presley’s birthday.

My breed is Malinois, so there’s a chance I was thrown away by the military, or perhaps given away to a civilian due to my small size (I’m 23 kg / 50 lbs fully grown) and then abandoned. I was rescued from Haifa by a nice man named Vitaly who took me to Tel Aviv.

I am quite well trained. I never bark. I also don’t bite, and if you put your hand in my mouth, I will pull away. I’m full of energy all the time. I love running up to people and other dogs to say hello and I love playing all sorts of games. But I hate fetch – it’s pretty dumb and repetitive.

You can be my friend if you want on the Facebook.
